Snakes, Owls and Eagles OH MY!

We started off animal adventures week with a visit from Mr. Johnny Warren from Reel Foot Lake!

Meet Captain Bly- he is over 25 years old and was rescued from a farm in Arkansas. His wing span is over 6 feet long and he has over 750 feathers!

This is Luna the screeching owl. She is very friendly and loves to have her head scratched!

Did you know there are over 250 different types of owls and they live on every Continent except Antarctica of course. :)

Hello to Scarlett the milk snake. Her name comes from old farming tales.

Our last friend is Suzy the corn snake.

We even got to hold Scarlett!

Thank you Mr. Johnny! We had so much fun learning about different animals today!
