Paper Plate Caterpillars
We have been busy over here at The Academy of Westhaven! We spent our week enjoying the beautiful spring like weather. The littles were excited to see all of the new flowers blooming, and to enjoy some sunshine while playing outside! :)
We had a week full of art activities and learning about nature.To start our week Every little got a paper plate to decorate. We then used each paper plate to create a Paper Plate Caterpillar for each classroom! The littles were all so proud of their masterpiece. After that each classroom got to create their very own gardens, and all of the seeds have already began to sprout! Some of our other activities included Tie Dye Butterflies that have filled the hallways, and Nature Sun-Catchers. It was a great first full week of spring, and we cannot wait to enjoy all the fun that is ahead! Check out all of the amazing masterpieces below! :)
