Turkey Feather Fluffing
Happy Wednesday Academy of Westhaven Families! It’s been such a beautiful week full of the best fall weather. The littles have loved playing outside and collecting all the leaves that have fallen onto the playground!
This week we had a fun new activity called Turkey Feather Fluffing! We were so excited because it’s great for all age groups and we were able to easily adjust for our younger littles! All we needed was a colander and some craft feathers, and the littles went to town. They had the best time filling the homes of the colander with the feathers. This is such a simple fine motor activity that helps littles practice hand-eye coordination and grasping skills! And as an added bonus, it literally takes only seconds to set up.
