While you are busy at work we are busy exploring the wonderful world of literacy and creativity. Learning to read and reading to children extremely important in brain development and growth.

More than any other single skill, the ability to read - and read well - allows a child to succeed in school,  learn about the world, function in society, and someday have decent job options. Enhancing children's literacy is at the heart of the Soho Center's NATIONALCHILDREN'S LITERACY INFORMATIONproject - a national children's literacy initiative."

National Children's Literacy is a great resource which give you tips for different ages and their developmental milestones for reading development. Check it out.
