Day of Play

This weekend our school had the pleasure of hosting a day of play for our friends in the community. The day of play illistrated how a young mind learns from free play. The activity day had different centers similar to a classroom spread out among our enrichment room so that our guests could get the feel of free play but wouldn't be spread out around the building so they couldn't interact with each center; we wanted it to feel as much like free play as possible. Overall, the turnout was good. We had lots of guests from the community visit to check out the center as well as many of our good friends from the school visit to play with us. Our Saturday was a great day for play!
