Gardening for Science

Yesterday, during our science enrichment, our friends got to learn about flowers by planting some! The activity was growing a sunflower, so each of the kids got one seed. They each got to put some potting soil in a biodegradable pot (so once the flower grows large enough you don't have to re-root it) and each were very patient waiting in line. They all seemed very excited for their flowers and know that watering them is the key to helping them grow!
