Second Harvest Food Bank

We had a very special visit this past week from someone to help us feel the Thanksgiving spirit! Second Harvest Food Bank came by to talk to us about how a food bank works and what it means to donate food. Our visitor helped us understand that not everyone has a pantry and refrigerator full of food, so food donations are very important! We were then able to look inside the van that is used to pick up the food from food donation sites and see how much food our school has donated during this food drive!
