Happy Monday Academy of Westhaven families! We are excited to start another Monday with all of our Fabulous littles! We are welcoming so many new friends to our school this week, so be sure to give them a friendly hello if you see them around. Before we dive into this weeks fun, I wanted to catch you all up on the amazing time we had last week during our Chopped Junior theme. This is one if the Littles favorite weeks out of the summer simply because it is so hands on. We started the week with vegetable sensory bins! The littles loved exploring all of their favorite vegetables and getting to compare sizes. Next we all got to decorate our very own cupcake! The littles were set up with their own piping bag of icing and sprinkles, and the complete JOY on their faces said it all. We also got to enjoy pancake painting, and all made our very own chef hats to complete the week. I have to say the hands down favorite we saved for Friday, Ice Cream in a Bag! The littles had a countdown for it all week and couldn’t wait to enjoy their delicious snack. It’s so fun seeing their imaginations come to life, and who knows maybe we have our very own future chef’s one day! :)
