Fall Sensory Bin Fun
Happy Tuesday Academy of Westhaven Families! We are off to a well full of fall family fun! We Enjoyed a Spaghetti Dinner on us, a Familiy Scavenger Hunt, and enjoying all of the extra outside time.

To get into the fall spirit we put together some fun Fall Sensory Bins! We had a fun Apple Picking sensory bin filled with apples made of pipe cleaners and magnetic wands to pick the apples with. It was such a wonderful fine motor activity, and was great for color sorting as well a building those cognitive and math skills. We also made a Apple Pie sensory bin. This was a fan favorite and the littles had the best time. We created recipe cards, which was incredible for the littles growing math skills as they counted and measured the ingredients. The possibilities were endless as the littles imaginations took over and they made pies for their friends and family members. It’s one of my favorites things to witness in a classroom is seeing the imaginations and wonder of all of the littles take over and truly come alive. Check out some of the fun below.

What are some of your favorite fall activities that you enjoy with your family?
