💚❤️Ugly Christmas Sweater Day❤️💚
Happy Tuesday Academy of Westhaven Families! It’s hard to believe we are at the beginning of December already! We have started all of the fun winter activities which included Wax Paper Ice Skating, Melted Snowman Activity, Read Ten on the Sled and our fan favorite…Ugly Christmas Sweater Day!
We started the day by getting into the spirit and all wearing our favorite Ugly Christmas Sweaters! Everyone was so excited to greet all of their friends to see what sweater they chose. All of our sweet teachers got in on the fun too! Then we had Sweater templates for everyone and gave them all the amazing materials to create their very own Ugly Christmas Sweater. You know we love a good collage art project so this was right up our alley! We thought that this would be an awesome collage activity for the kids. No need to try to make a perfectly beautiful sweater, the uglier the better! The littles had free range to express their creativity while building those fine motor and cognitive skills!
