Happy Tuesday Academy of Westhaven families! It’s starting to feel like fall and it brings all the fun activities along with it. Recently we got to observe something close to our heart when we went gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness. AOW transformed into a sea of gold during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Children and teachers alike adorned themselves with gold shirts, dresses, accessories, and even painted faces.
Gold isn’t just a color; it’s a symbol of hope, strength, and resilience. For children battling cancer, every day is a testament to their incredible courage. Preschoolers, known for their boundless energy and infectious laughter, decided to harness that energy and spread a little sunshine by going gold.
